My 11 year old son came to Pacific Dance Arts a little over 2 1/2 years ago. Though he had never taken ballet before he had danced for many years. They took the time and patience to find the best placement for him so he could develop the technique he needed while at the same time not being held behind by the age or inexperience of younger dancers. The mentorship of the older dancers and members of Coastal City is incredible as well. My son has felt well supported and has been encouraged to explore his love of dance in a safe and welcoming space while receiving exceptional instruction. I would recommend Pacific Dance Arts to all and any dancers who wants to pursue an interest in Ballet.

This dance academy is by far the best in the lower mainland. The teacher give their students space along with respect and there is no favouritism. Everyone gets a chance. The teachers there all every easy going and understanding. It is a pleasure attending their shows and seeing the student progress

Amazing experience. I started out relatively later to ballet as a 17-year old boy at the time, but Mr. Li saw my potential and took me into his studio. Despite dancing with girls who had had 10 years worth of experience over me, I always felt welcome to and safe in class. Since having danced there for only a couple of years, multiple dance and musical theatre opportunities have opened up to me. No complaints whatsoever.
